Alternative medicine in the spotlight: Cupping Therapy

With all of the recent attention on cupping at the Rio games, some may wonder if this technique is more hype than help. 

In a 2016 review article entitled “New is the well-forgotten old: The use of dry cupping in musculoskeletal medicine,” the authors discuss the history, methodologies and effects of this ancient healing technique.
